What a loss, we all just loved your “Walt”, he always had an interesting story often with a humorous twist to end it! I can hear his laugh now. I was only a teenager when the family moved in across the street on 13th and there started a great friendship that has lasted these 50+ years. He was just such a super nice gentlemanly guy that all of us loved! My sincerest condolences to you all!

I was so saddened to hear about Uncle Walt.
When I go down the memory lane of my childhood, I am filled with memories of family weekend sleepovers, Christmases when dad couldn’t leave the station so you came to us. Playing in the elevator at Simmie and a plethora of others– too numerous to mention but all leaving a feeling of a happy “childhood family” that will be with me always. A great caring uncle to me.

My prayers and deepest sympathy are with each of you with the loss of Walt. I got to know him when I was married to Rick Parsons. I can remember that Walt had a great sense of humour.
