I am so grateful for having known Jim. It was because of him that I now have a little dog who has become the love of my life for the past 11 years. He found her at a yard sale ( where else). The owners were giving her up for adoption because they were moving into a retirement home so he gave them my phone number. Thank you Jim, you were a Godsend.

Yes, we'll miss cousin Jim. He liked to send us samples of his baking and food inventions and found a friend travelling to Ontario to deliver a special African violet as a gift to his Aunt Lois, which greatly impressed her. Marie and Gerry

Looking at the pictures brought back memories of many family dinner, of 20 or more, at Christmas and other get togethers.
Jim's parents were Dr. Robert and Dorothy Irwin. Jim had 3 siblings, Bill, Ted, and Bruce.
Jim Loved playing the trombone in the Swift Current Junior Band. Jim also enjoyed marching in the Frontier Days Parade and participating in other band functions.
I remember the many sleep overs with the " boy cousins" It made our parents happy to add 3 or 4 more boys to the mix. We all, parents included, managed to live through all the mischief.
I was honored to part of Jim's wedding party.
It has been awhile since our last meeting and did not keep in touch over the years. I will always treasure the memories of the time we spent together and the adventures we shared.

Hey Jim, second eldest of the RW Irwin boys. Cousin of the NT Irwin girls and FL Pierce boys. The one who was able to skip school detention because he had to go to band practice. Playing trombone for Mr. Weigel with Nelson, Shogan and Thompson - what great music. Good enough to travel to Expo 1967 to perform in front of the World.

We always had a pleasant chat when we ran into Jim. He had beautiful manners and a kind way about him. He will be missed.
