Obituary of Elaine Katherine Teichrib

It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Mrs. Elaine Teichrib (Funk) announce her passing on December 17, 2022, with her family by her side at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Elaine was born on July 21, 1946 in Main Centre District.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Gordon Teichrib, Lori (Garth) Doersken, and Glen (Melody) Teichrib, grandchildren; Brendon (Melinda) Teichrib, Angel (Greg) Dyck, Amanda (Rob) Doerksen, Andrew (Porscha) Doerksen, Evan Teichrib, and great grandchildren; Layla, Keaton, Ethan, Hudson, Kelsa, Keanna, Autumn, Amilia, Kayden, and Celebrity, her siblings; Elmer (Rene) Funk, Verna (Dwayne) Onofriechuk, Harold (Sylvia) Funk, Vickie Keller, and sister-in-law Dianne (Tom) Hammond, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Elaine is predeceased by; her husband William Teichrib, her parents Henry and Elizabeth Funk, brother Harvey (Marjorie) Funk, brother-in-law Al Keller, and her father and mother-in-law George and Pearl Teichrib.

Elaine worked at Wong’s Kitchen in Swift Current for many years until her retirement. She then enjoyed fishing and family time at the lake, card games, curling, and watching every Blue Jays game. Its is Elaine’s wish that there will be no public funeral service, and a private family gathering will be held in her memory at a later date. Elaine will be dearly missed by all who knew her
