Obituary of Wanda Helen Funk

FUNK – WANDA HELEN (1955-2022)        

Mrs. Wanda Helen Funk passed away at her home in Winnipeg on July 4^th, 2022. Wanda was born at the Swift Current Hospital on January 25^th, 1955, to her parents Cornie and Ruby Funk.

She is predeceased by her father Cornie.

She is survived by her mother Ruby, her brothers; Brian, Wayne, and Ron, and her sisters; Brenda (Evan) Bowles, Connie Funk, Cindy (Jack) Keays, Tracy Funk, Carol (Steve) LaPointe, and her many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In her childhood she attended Main Centre and Herbert schools. She made her home in Manitoba, where she worked for the Westward Village Inn and at Tim Hortons in Portage La Prairie. She also liked to volunteer at the Elizabeth Fry Society in Winnipeg

She enjoyed Sewing, Knitting, Crocheting, and spending time with her seeing eye dog, Jaela.

A memorial service for Wanda will be held at Faith Fellowship Church in Herbert on Wednesday, July 13, at 2 P.M. with Donavon Epp Officiating
