Bernice, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this trying time. My memory of Jim is his constant smile, his sense of humor, his teasing as well as his positive outlook on life. I also remember how he and Alex bonded with my Dad at Mike's and my wedding. When the Lord calls our loved ones He leaves the gift of memories. Those memories of love and friendship are treasures that you will carry with you always and they will fill your heart when it feels empty. On behalf of everyone at Martens Ranch we send our condolences to your family. Curt remembers Jim’s drive and determination as second to none. He remembers a time when our guys were helping him drag square bales out of a slough that had flooded. We used horses and he figured the next best thing was a skidoo.
