Obituary of Rosalind Kosolofski

Kosolofski – Rosalind passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Meadows Long Term Care Home. She was born August 22, 1939 in Prelate, SK.  Rosalind is predeceased by her parents Nicholas Fieger and Josephine Fieger, brother Joseph Fieger and grandchildren Stacy Wiese and Brady Jacobsen. She is survived by her husband Gregory Kosolofski, Son Kenneth (Darlene) Kosolofski, Daughter Donna (James) Wiese, Son Donald (Darcey) Kosolofski, Son Craig, and sister, Nichola (Melvin) Goldade. Grandchildren: Trevor Kosolofski, Curtis Kosolofski (Carolyn Fluter), Ryan Kosolofski (Emily Pritchard), Clayton (Candace) Wiese, Cody Wiese and Mikalya (McKenzie) Cargile. Great Grandchildren: Avery Kosolofski, Ivan Kosolofski and Georgia Wiese. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Mom had many hobbies and interests including being an award-winning cook. She also loved knitting and crocheting numerous blankets, scarfs and sweaters, most of which she gave away. Mom was an active volunteer in her community and was proud of being a lifetime member of the Catholic Women’s League.  Throughout her career, mom worked at the Prelate Hospital, in the kitchen at the Prelate Convent and was also a passionate and caring nurses’ aid at the Leader Senior Citizens Home and the Palliser Regional Care Centre in Swift Current.  Mom will be dearly missed by her family and everyone whose lives she has touched. The Kosolofski family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at the Meadows Long Term Care Home in Swift Current for their passionate and loving care of Rosalind during her stay there.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 25th at Christ the Redeemer Parish in Swift Current, SK.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Rosalind to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Meadows Auxiliary, Swift Current, SK.  Arrangements are in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle & Hayden Cappelle.
