My deepest sympathy to you, Cheryl. I know you will miss Ray every hour of every day. The two of you have been an example to all couples, with love and dedication to each other for all the years of your marriage. That is a feat, few couples achieve. You had a deep love for each other. Blessings to you and your family! Pat Olson

When I think of Ray, the first thing that comes to mind would be his smile. It was kind, sometimes mischievous, but always genuine.

Good morning, Cheryl. What a beautiful day to celebrate the life of Ray. The sky so blue, and the sun sitting there with the biggest smile, just like Ray's sunny face.
Wherever does the time go? It seems like yesterday we were all in school, wondering what lay ahead of us, what life had in store. What a wonderful life you and Ray created for yourselves and your family. Not a stone unturned. No sight unseen. Always a horse to nuzzle. So many memories.
He is finally, finally without pain, at rest.
We hold you close in our hearts and thoughts.

My deepest condolences to you Cheryl and family.
So many great memories of Ray but I will never forget that smile which would even show up when he was giving Blake and I hell for doing something we probably shouldn't have been.
Rest in peace Ray.

Uncle Ray! Where do I even begin.. I followed you for many miles around the farm yard and through corals. Never knowing what I might step in… didn’t matter to me tho. You were always the strongest man I ever knew… I always wondered where your cape was! I remember the day you cut your toe in your steel toe boots at grandma Rita & Grandpa Halver’s helping trim some trees grandma had to get out of there. That chain saw went right thru that toe like butter and you just looked at me and said… it will be ok! I have lots more toes and a few extra pair of boots! I know we didn’t get to spend much time together over the last few years but I hope you knew you were always in my heart. You fought the fight to the very end just like you always have. I sure hope the pain is gone and you are in a better place. My mom was probably waiting as well as grandma and grandpa! I hope you knew how much I really did love you and I will have many memories to hold close. Until we meet again I send you much love! Love Stacey, Colin (Jordan, Alyson and Jorja) XOXO
