Obituary of Norma Hanoski

Norma (Wells) Hanoski - 89 Years young. She was born May 29, 1931 at Galilee, SK to Louis & Laura Wells.  Norma was one of ten children who spent time working the family store and garage.  Norma loved playtime with all her siblings on Sugar Loaf Hill.  Norma married Kasper Hanoski on March 21, 1951 in Moose Jaw, Sk. And raised 2 daughters and 2 sons.  She worked for 20 years at Sears in the catalogue department where she made many friends.  Norma had a passion for Danish cooking, gardening, sewing, knitting and crocheting.  Many Barbie Doll outfits and doilies are still with her loving family.  Visits to grandmas involved baking homemade cinnamon buns, pies and fresh buns.  She also played endless card and board games with all the grandchildren but she never let them win.  She enjoyed receiving cards and pictures of her great grandchildren.  Our precious mother spent her final years in a Moose Jaw nursing home.  She passed peacefully on February 12, 2021 in hospital.  Norma is survived by one brother (Louis Wells); 4 children Avis, Joanne, Ken and David; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She is loved and will be remembered by all.  To sign the family book of condolences, visit www.parksidefuneralhome.com Arrangements in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle & Hayden Cappelle.
