We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your father, Terry. He was such a nice man. My memories of him go back to May 1968 when I did a two week practice teaching session at Herbert High School where your father was principal. Our sincere condolences to you, Audrey, and the boys and their families.

Dear Terry, Randy, Audrey and family,
I would like to express my sincere condolences at the passing of Grandpa. I have kept him in prayer since learning from my mother, Julie, that he was in the hospital, and then as he went to meet the Lord and to dwell in the Father’s house.
For so many years he was so close to our family that I have many special memories of being with him: for years, on trips visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Calgary at Christmas and in the summers; and as a young adult in Calgary. I have wonderful memories of spending time with him: biking in Fish Creek Park; on different fishing trips; receiving math tutorials; and being together for family gatherings. It was special to visit him on a few occasions in his last years in Swift Current. I will miss him and I am sad to learn that he is gone. I entrust him into God’s loving hands, and I will keep you all in my prayers at this difficult time.
“I am the Resurrection and the Life” (Jn 11:25)
With hugs and prayers,
John

I have so many memories of Dick! We had many deep conversations, sometimes he asked my opinion and sometimes I asked his. He was not afraid to give his opinion or ask you a hard question. I appreciated the many times he came into my office at Riverview and sat down to visit. I knew I was in for an interesting discussion! The hug he gave me and the words he told me when I left Riverview are still etched into my heart. I choke up now thinking about them. Some moments you just do not want to forget. I will miss the twinkle in his eye. Sending hugs and Love to the family. Benita and Glen Letnes
