Obituary of Richard Hiscock
HISCOCK – Richard passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Meadows Long Term Care Facility. Richard was born on April 20, 1945 in Red Deer, AB to parents Leonard and Marjorie Hiscock. He is survived by his wife Susan; step-children & step-grandchildren, Michelle (Todd) & Shae; Robert & Sadie, Emily, Jasper; Andrew (Alix) & Shaemus. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard & Majorie and brother Wally. When Richard was 8 days old, he moved to the family farm north of Harris, SK. He loved working on the machinery, cars, and reading magazines on how to fix them. After his marriage to Susan, they traveled to England twice to meet his mother-in-law and see the country of his ancestors. They also traveled and camped in Arizona where they found a puppy named Ari (Arizona) which they brought home. They also traveled to California, through the states, to London, Ontario and many trips to Vancouver Island to see family and new grandson. The last trip they made was to Houston, B.C. to see family and to visit old friends in Kitimat, B.C. Many thanks to Dr. Garcia, Dr. Penner-Chea, the emergency room doctors, nurses and technicians, the home care team, wards 3&4 of the Cypress Regional Hospital, Saskatoon R.U.H Surgical Ward, and the staff of Clover House for his final days.
