Obituary of Terrance Reinhard Theise

THEISE – TERRANCE it is with deep sadness that the family of Terrance “Terry” Reinhard announce his passing on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the age of 72. He passed away peacefully at the place he loved the most - his cabin at Ferguson Bay. He was born in Ottawa, Ont. on August 7, 1947 to Reinhard and Anne Theise. He is survived by his loving wife Caroline; his son Everett (Jennifer), grandson Mitchell; his daughter Anna and her three children, Amber, Erica and James; his son Kevin (Becky) and their two boys, Kyle and Brett. He is also survived by his 4 brothers, Ron, Brian, Bruce (Evelyn), Tom and his sister Judy (Glenda). He is predeceased by his father Reinhard, mother Anne and his two brothers Bob and Rick. Terry married his sweetheart Caroline (Koethler) Theise on June 7, 1969 and together they had 3 children and 6 grandchildren. In 1980 they moved to the acreage in Dunelm, SK. Then in 2001 the moved to Ponteix, SK. Terry worked at the Department of Highways for many years. After his retirement he worked at various jobs in and around Ponteix. Terry enjoyed everything in life, but to name a few things he loved was fishing, camping, animals, bird watching and family gatherings. Being kind and making friends came easy to him. He loved to visit with and catch up with his fishing buddies, neighbors, highway workers and all the lifelong friends he made along the way. But most of all Terry enjoyed his family. He loved his wife and family dearly. Nothing made him happier than to get together with the family and visit and enjoy a meal. He made each and everyone feel special, appreciated and loved. Terry was a gentle, kind, generous man, who loved always being around people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A private family gathering was held on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home with interment held at Dunelm Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date when the family can gather together with all their friends and family.
