I was so very sorry to hear that Shirley had passed. I have so many great memories of our visits and many giggles together when I would be at the farm caring for her. We shared many stories, jokes, recipes and laughs. I still talk about our times together with my husband, friends and family. She was such a great, strong lady and I will always smile when I think about her and our time together. She's also responsible for my 18 year addiction to Coronation Street. Thank you Shirley! My dearest condolences to Angela, Duane, Jake, Rohith and all the family. Also to her other care givers and friends who had the pleasure of getting to know her.

I got to know Shirley when she came to the Palliser for respite. Later when she became a resident. We were so much in common. We spoke low German and laughed a lot. After I retired I became a companion to Shirley. Reading, laughing, singing,playing bingo. She was such a beautiful lady! She is greatly missed by many!

Our sympathy to Shirley's family. We got to know her when our Mom Juverna Marken was admitted to the Palliser. And then when the residents were moved to the Meadows, Shirley and Mom were both in house 2. It was always good to see and have a visit with her on our visits with Mom.
