Condolences go out to the whole family. I spent a lot of time at the "Heron" house & enjoyed every minute. There were always stories being told, cards being played or running around the yard. I grew up on a farm not far from the Heron's & when they moved to Saskatoon our family felt lost. Our parents were the craziest & best of friends as were all of us (the kids). I was fortunate to live with the family for a time when they moved to Saskatoon & of course the kindness of the whole family shone through. I think you all of you a lot & am deeply saddened by another loss in your family.

Our deepest condolences to the Heron Family from both of us. We are so sorry to hear this news. We've known Lyle for many years and I just had a visit with both of you last January. I was so happy to hear how you were both enjoying life so I hope those memories will shine bright. May you feel God's peace and His arm around your whole family.

From the heart I remember Lyle as a great coach and mentor. Our hockey Bantam hockey team sucked because we all did not know how to skate very well. Lyle did not let us touch a puck for two weeks of practice and tought us to turn both ways, and to skate backwards properly! We were never a great team but we were much better because of his patience, persistence and tough love! Lyle also taught us a variety of wrestling skills and fitness training techniques.
I had many good laughs with Lyle, sampling bear jerky, playing golf and slow pitch and good times officiating a few hockey games with him. He was a good sport, a good friend and an all around class act!
My sincere condolences to Brenda her family and the greater Cabri family on the loss of Lyle. He was an awesome community guy that will truly missed.
