Leonard was a very kind hearted and funny person, I always enjoyed going to The Meadows to volunteer and play cards with him, he sure knew how to cheat his way through a cribbbage game. Always had a smile on his face and a joke to be told. Rest in peace my friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and all family members. I last saw Uncle Leonard when he and Aunt Darlene brought Gramma Linder to see my dad (Stan) when he was ill. I remember him as a strong family man much like my dad.

Uncle Lenard was a man, that defined family. Living 2500km away, he always made time to call and say hello and check in on us. I will miss his witty humour and charming smile, he showed such determination to make life so much better for those who took the time to spend time with him. He will be dearly missed. Marie-Anne and I would love to express our sincere condolences to the Linder Family and a thank you for the warmth of an awesome Uncle. RIP Uncle

Darlene and family - how surprised we were to hear of Leonard's passing. He had just been down to House 16 for his faithful twice-weekly visit and we had enjoyed chatting and catching up on all the news with him. Mom so appreciated his visits and the laughs they shared together. His cribbage partners are certainly going to miss his laughter and jokes. I personally will miss his great hugs and his happy disposition - He always could put a smile on my face. Cherish your memories and hold them close in your hearts - he was a great man! Mom and I will be praying for you as you mourn your loss.

I’m not sure AL4Npif you remember me, but I played cribbage with Len when he was a regular at the Day Program and of course, after he became a resident. He would come to the Day Program with his smiling face on Tuesday’s and Friday’s to have a game of cribbage. It always gave him a thrill when he beat me saying my personal pegs were “lucky”.
I will miss him greatly as I’m sure will the residents and staff at the Meadows

My sincere condolences to you Darlene and your family in the passing of Leonard. I enjoyed this man's sense of humor and shared many laughs with him including times of driving him from Riverview to Prairie Pioneers Lodge where he loved to play cribbage with the folks there. We had great chats during the back and forth trips and he was such a good-natured man with a big smile. He will be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you remember Leonard.
