Ray and I send our sincere condolences to Sterling and family. Fred was always there for anyone that needed a hand. Fred was one of a kind; Herbert and community will greatly miss him. Fred greeted everyone with a smile and a joke, if he had one to share. Fred, Sterling and I played together for many hours on the family farms while our parents visited which is one of my many memories. Fred always left an everlasting impression with anyone he met. Ray met him while playing pool at Vince and Emily's and needless to say, we had much fun and laughter. Rest in Peace Fred. You have fought the good fight! Shirley and Ray

Herbert & area will truly miss Fred. We have been gone from the community many years, but whenever we visited there we would usually run into Fred and he always gave us a friendly welcome. He volunteered so much of his time to most every function in Herbert. Our parents also enjoyed Fred's company. He was so excited when I visited him in the nursing home. Our condolences to all the family.
