After living most of his young life in the United Kingdom he immigrated to Canada in 1947 to join his sisters, who were currently living in Saskatchewan as War Brides. He lived with his sister Phyllis in Kyle, SK and worked at the Matador Co-op Farm for a short time. Then he went to work for Ramsey & Byrd to help build the first bridge across the Saskatchewan Landing. After, he went to work for the Canadian Pacific Railway and became a section hand, where at this time is when he met his wife, Helen Cleveland. Then the CPR moved him to Swift Current where he worked as a hostler and later as fireman on the locomotives. From there he went to work at the Swift Current Union Hospital where he worked for eleven years. Later he worked for the Dept. of National Defense at the Armories in Swift Current and transferred into the Dept. of Public Works/Post Office where he worked until his retirement in 1990. Trevor cherished his family and all of the family suppers and gatherings, and he loved The Lord with all of his heart. He enjoyed his bike riding and his daily walks. He enjoyed traveling on bus tours all across North America, but especially to the Maritimes. He made a trip back to the United Kingdom in 1979 for his 25th wedding anniversary, which was special to him. He liked to also be involved in his local church. He was the epitome of graciousness and gentleness, and who was truly the character of a gentleman. Celebration of Life will be held on August 12th, 2017 at Family Community Church. Family graveside service was held on June 30th, 2017 at Hillcrest Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made toward Missions work in Family Community Church.
