Karaim – Deanna Marlene
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and sister in law. Deanna passed away unexpectedly on April 30th 2009 at St. Pauls Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Deanna leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband and eternal sweetheart Ronald. Her children, son Robert (Barb), daughter Tara ( Bob Little) and her precious grandsons, Maxx, Jack, and Roman. Her three sisters, Florence (Paul Krilyk), Shirley (John Zurkowski), Sonia Maxine (Edward Papas) and sister-in-laws, Lois (Bill Babuik) and Shirley (Oz Isfeld). She will also be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and many, many friends. Deanna was predeceased by her beloved parents, Steve and Mary Maksymetz, parents-in-law, Walter and Jean Karaim, and her two special Godchildren, Shelly Rose Zurkowski and Dana Lee Papas. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 6th, 2009 at 11am from the First United Church with Christine Ciona officiating. Internment was held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Pallbearers were close friends Ron Dyck, Albert Lowe, Garry Orsak, Floyd Ash, Russ Mason, and Larry Kolskog. Larry Kozun did the beautiful eulogy. I will love you for always, I will love you forever, as long as we are living, our angel you will be. Parkside Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
