Ann Elizabeth (Dauk) Caven
Passed away suddenly, Sunday November 1st, 2009 at her home in the company of her husband Merv. Born April 7, 1941, Ann was a wonderful woman – a wife – a mother – a grandmother – and a friend to whomever she met.
She dedicated her life to helping others. Whether it be in her career choices as a teacher, daycare manager, or special care assistant in senior citizen homes, or as a volunteer in her parish, anyone who came into contact with Ann remembers her as a kind and caring person who always put her family and neighbours ahead of herself. One of her many loves was being in the kitchen cooking and baking for friends and family. Her specialties were homemade buns, sweet and sour spareribs, perogies and cabbage rolls. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Merv and her two sons and their families, Mervin and Patti and children Brandon and Jenna – Lethbridge, AB. Jason and Wanda and children Noah and Rebekah – Cranbrook, B.C. Her brothers and sisters are many, Rudy (Audrey) Dauk(Benito, MB), Ben (Marion) Dauk (Regina, SK) Pat (Judy) Dauk (Stonewall, MB), Erwin Dauk (Swift Current, SK), Rosalyn (Vic) Cuthbert (Winnipeg, MB), Marlene (Bob) Mackalski (Brandon, MB), Sister-in-law Patricia Dauk (Swift Current) and Sister-in Law Sharon Dauk (Estevan, SK).
