BOND Mrs. Vivian Ruth (September 9, 1934 – July 8, 2010), It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the death of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who passed away peacefully at the SwiftCurrentHospital.
Vivian was born in West Dover, Nova Scotia and moved to Swift Current in 1981. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Betty (Scott) and her children Jodie and Kelly, and daughter, Sheila (John) Dukic and her children Kathy, Ana and Claudia; special grandson, Peter Johnson and great-grandchildren. Vivian was a remarkable woman who spent her life working hard and nurturing her family. She loved children and has touched many lives with love, compassion and kindness. The family expresses a special thank you to the medical staff at the SwiftCurrentHospital and her Salvation Army family for the wonderful care they gave our mother. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army in Swift Current, 780 – 1st Ave N.W.. Donations in memory of Vivian Bond may be made to Swift Current Salvation Army, Box 2061, Swift Current, SK S9H 4M7. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Parkside Memorial Funeral Home, Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
