Sharon is survived by sister Glenys Cole; friend Jim Browatzke; children Brad Browatzke (Gerry Wirth), Garth Browatzke, Brenda Zieglgansberger & son-in-law Al, Brent Browatzke & daughter-in-law Yvonne Decoste; step children Jimmy Milas, Phyllis (Bruce) Henderson, Manny Milas; grandchildren: Andre Decoste, Trevor Filion, Krystal Coveny, Tasha Shauf, Tyler Filion, Terri Samson, Tyson Filion, Amy Milas, Nicole & Ron Allman, Jack Henderson, Scott Henderson; great-grandchildren: Hayli & Jordi Filion Jahnke, Allie Coveny Filion, Morgan & Isabella Samson; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and friends. Sharon was born in Regina and met and married Jim Browatzke. They moved to Swift Current in 1963 apparently settling in swift in 1965. They raised their 4 children and Sharon worked on and off. Sharon later divorced and met Albert. They spent the rest of their lives together until Albert passed away in February of 2012. Sharon was a friend to many and enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, gardening, doing crafts and spending time on the computer to name a few things. She enjoyed visiting whether in person or on the phone. That was always a highlight especially after she was widowed. She was diagnosed with lung cancer early in 2013 and had treatments in the summer up until October. She fought until there was no fight left. She has joined her loved ones and as sad as we are, we are happy for her to be at peace. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Sharon can be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre 4101 Dewdney Avenue Regina, Saskatchewan S4T 7T1.
