Ed was always a gentleman and a pleasure to be around. I was married to Ed’s Niece, Aline who went on to be with our Lord 6 years ago. Aline always spoke highly of her uncle Ed. When our son Chris played in the WHL, Ed would make a point of going to see him play in Swift Current and meet with Chris after the game. The Ovington family pass on our condolences to the Carlson Family and to the friends of Uncle Ed.

Our condolences to the Carlson families.
We have wonderful memories of visiting with Ed. He and my dad, Ken, were great friends for most of their lives. He had a wonderful sense of humor and could always put a smile on your face. He will be missed. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.

Uncle Ed was the first person to trust me to drive his car. I was 14 and loved cars, especially his. We went for a drive and he taught me to drive a standard shift. I think by the time we got back he had his first grey hairs, but it was all good.
Thanks Uncle Ed.
