Obituary of Mitch Alexander Ian Melo

Mitchell Alexander Ian Melo was born February 20th, 1992, in Swift Current Saskatchewan to Alanna Becker, the first of four children. Mitchell grew up in Swift Current and graduated from SCCHS in 2010.

Mitchell is survived by his mother Alanna, father Tony, and son Kaysin, his brothers; Nicholas, Bradley, and Simon, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, multiple cousins, and Dustin Bakken.

He enjoyed playing hockey and going for a round of golf, but most of all he loved spending time with his son, Kaysin. Mitch always knew how to make people laugh and smile.

He will be deeply missed by many.

Memorial Donation:

Donations in memory of Mitchell can be made to the trust account created in support of Mitchell’s son, Kaysin Melo. The trust account is at Innovation Federal Credit Union for those that wish to donate at the bank. All donations are greatly appreciated. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home. The family would like those people attending the service to dress in casual attire. After the service, friends are invited to stay and share Mitch's favourite Tim Horton's coffee and donuts.
