I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Neil. Not only a big voice, but a big heart! I used to love visiting my Nana on Clifton in Winnipeg because I would get to visit my Aunt Ruth and Uncle Neil too! I didn’t get to see him as much once they moved to Swift Current but would keep in touch with cards and phone calls. And I am forever grateful for his spiritual guidance and support when my mother Gail was in hospice care. He offered my mother a lot of support and comfort in her final days. And also again many years later in a phone call when my father passed away. He was a force and will be missed greatly. Rest easy Uncle Neil. ~ Your niece Diana Amey and hubby Dave Amey

Being distantly related to Neil (on his mom’s side—his step great grandmother was a sister to my great grandfather ie Eliza(beth) Dunford to Joseph Dunford), I would stop in to visit with both Neil & Ruth on my way to visit my parents (either Eston or Saskatoon). Hadn’t seen them since 2016. Sorry for your losses. I will keep my memories of them alive, as I continue with researching family history. Glenna Thomson (daughter of late Vye nee Dunford & late Barrie Thomson)

Bill was a dedicated public activist and a highly valued supporter of the Reform Party in its early days. He cared deeply for the welfare of ordinary citizens for whom he volunteered his time and effort.

Bill was one of the few remaining active participants in the old Reform Party. I was always thankful for his supportive efforts in my two successful candidacies as an MP.
I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of this good friend.

We are sorry to hear of Neil’s passing but he is rejoicing with Jesus and with those gone on ahead of him. We absolutely loved “bumping into him” as we were out and about. A quick hello would last at least 20 minutes. May you all have wonderful memories of him and your mom. (We certainly do). May the Lord fill your hearts with peace and comfort in the days ahead.
