Condolences to all the Glover’s and extended family members of “Beaver Bob”. My family, from Southern Alberta, also nicknamed him that in order to keep all the other Bob’s in our own family straight. Many years ago my family and I had the pleasure of renting Leroy’s place each year for a week and with Bob and Shirley living next door they naturally turned into friends, plus they provided an abundance of information on how and where to catch the fish, among many other things. This past summer I enjoyed more trips to Beaver Flat and was delighted to re-connect with Bob and Shirley, meet more of their family, plus I scored a bounty of veggies from their well-tended garden. I think that heaven just got another real good fisherman, but he will be missed.
