Obituary of Darcy Vangen

VANGEN – Darcy – November 10, 1964 – December 24, 2023

Darcy was born on November10, 1964 in Herbert, SK. He was a cuddly, loving little boy, full of smiles, mischief and never sat still. His many interest included shooting the windows out of his grandfather’s Quonset, riding bikes, snowmobiling, horses & Motocross. His greatest love was cars and he was a talented artist, drawing imaginary people, vehicles and real portraits.

Darcy was predeceased by his grandparents and his father Raymond. He is survived by his mother Cheryl; brother Blake (Tracy) Nassau; sister Jacqueline (Brian); aunt Donna Ashton, Sheila Robatzek; cousins Renee (Elmer) Funk, Tracy (Barry), Troy & Michael Robatzek; his son Dexter Stangland, Alexis Vangen (Isaac) & Micheal Vangen and also by grandchildren Chloe & Jaxon Stangland, Alayna Vangen and nephews Bobby, Randy (daughter Prudence) & Brandon (daughter Aleigha).

A Graveside Interment will take place on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK. Donations in memory of Darcy can be made to the Diabetes Association of Saskatchewan.
